____________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACTen
The issue investigated in this research deals with the learning of children across the different family structures in the view of teachers, performed with teachers from a school in the public schools of the Federal District that teach children aged 4-6 years. This age was stipulated by the fact that children are at a moment of transition between the family environment and school environment, being important to work together at that time. The survey was conducted on a school in Planaltina, a city in the Federal District and aimed to investigate the relationship between family and school from the family due to the child's learning process, to identify family structures found in children as well as the relationship with the school routine of families with school and finally realize the structures that show students with more ease and more difficulty in the learning process. Considering that the survey was conducted in November, it appears that teachers already had knowledge of their students, and involvement with them. Realizing the changes throughout history in relation to the ways families have been restructuring and reorganizing it is evident that these changes were related to family involvement with the school. To obtain the data, the survey consisted of a questionnaire administered to ten teachers. The results show that despite the existence of various family structures, nuclear family is predominant over other structures, it is seen as the one with the greatest quantitative value of students having ease in the learning process. The structure follows the success of students with ease in the learning process are formed by single parents. The few divorced parents are positive and beneficial to the child data, mostly present themselves distant from the school context and there are few students who have facility in the learning process. Children whose family structure is a homosexual couple, virtually were not generated data as other structures, the data collected were obtained by informal conversation with one teacher, and the only one identified this structure among the ten interviewed . Children who are raised by other family members are the second most identified in school, however the survey data show little present in the everyday school life of the child and reveals greater discrepancy between students with ease and difficulty in the learning process. It concludes that, in this way, despite of the many changes throughout history and the structural formation of the family, the nuclear family is the basis for having a child, followed by single parents, only these two structures showed positive signs that stood on the negative effects on children's learning, the others showed negative to positive, which protrude into the learning process and in family and school relationships in favor of the child. As stated by teachers, family structure of the child is related to the process of teaching and learning, this has to have strength in the structural basis for promoting the child a beneficial situation in the learning process.en
