| dc.description.abstract | O objetivo deste trabalho de conclusão de curso é apresentar a tradução dos dois primeiros capítulos do livro Post-Truth: The New War on Truth and How to Fight Back, de Matthew D’ancona. O tema central do livro, a pós-verdade, está relacionado de maneira bem próxima a política na atualidade. Por esse motivo, a reflexão sobre ideologia na tradução é importante para identificar possíveis distorções ou manipulações usadas no texto traduzido. Essa reflexão obedeceu duas instâncias: a primeira, em relação à proposta de tradução apresentada neste trabalho e a segunda, em relação ao texto traduzido publicado em 2018. À vista disso, serão tomados como base teórica pesquisas sobre ideologia na tradução, sobre a presença discursiva do tradutor e sobre a criatividade no uso da linguagem para dar suporte a análise dos textos traduzidos. | pt_BR |

| dc.description.abstract1 | This translation project aims to present the translation of the first and the second chapter of the book Post-Truth: The New War on Truth and How to Fight Back, by Matthew D’ancona. The main subject of the book, post-truth, is closely related to politics today. Therefore, the investigation about ideology in translation is relevant to identify possible distortions or manipulations in the language used in the translated text. This investigation obeyed two instances: the first, related to the translation presented in this work, and the second, related to the translation published in 2018. For that reason, different works on ideology and translation, discursive presence of the translator and creativity in the use of language will be the theorical base of this project to support the analysis of the translations. | pt_BR |
