O papel do orientador educacional

Abstract

Este trabalho teve como objetivo investigar a importância do Orientador Educacional na comunidade escolar bem como os benefícios que este profissional traz ao ambiente escolar. Para isso recuperamos a trajetória da Orientação através da sua evolução no Brasil com intenção de ilustrar os caminhos da Orientação até a atualidade. Através de uma observação participante, que valoriza o conhecimento baseado na experiência, foi possível evidenciar, diante da minha vivência em duas escolas particulares do Distrito Federal, qual é a atuação do Orientador Educacional, que ainda hoje está alicerçado na resolução de conflitos. A partir disto buscou-se planejar mudanças para delinear o papel desse profissional, pensando em uma nova atuação para o Orientador Educacional dentro da escola, com o intuito de valorizar suas funções, atendendo as necessidades dos envolvidos no processo educacional. Conclui-se, portanto, que a escola deve procurar compreender qual é o papel do Orientador Educacional, buscando valorizá-lo, e este profissional, por sua vez deve ter conhecimento de suas funções e adapta-las as demandas do contexto escolar. _________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT

This study aimed to investigate the importance of the Guidance Counselor in the school community and the benefits this brings to the professional school environment. For this retrieve the trajectory of guidance through its evolution in Brazil intended to illustrate the orientation of the paths to the present. From a participant observation, which values the knowledge based on experience, it became clear, before my experience in two private schools of the Federal District, which is the role of the Guidance Counselor, which is still rooted in conflict resolution. From this we sought to plan changes to delineate the role of this professional, thinking about a new role for Educational Advisor within the school, in order to enhance its functions, meeting the needs of those involved in the educational process. We conclude, therefore, that the school should try to understand what is the role of the Guidance Counselor, seeking treasure it, and this professional in turn should be aware of their roles and adapts them the demands of the school setting.
