Arte indígena brasileira : grafismo da tribo Karajá

Abstract

O presente estudo é um resultado da investigação sobre arte indígena, mais especificamente do grafismo da tribo Karajá, tendo como objetivo apresentar uma reflexão sobre a inclusão do conteúdo indígena no currículo escolar na rede regular de ensino. Pretendendo contextualizar a diversidade, característica do povo brasileiro. Para tanto apresenta projeto de arte-educação desenvolvido com as séries finais do Ensino Fundamental, em parceria com professores de outras disciplinas, abordando a arte e o grafismo em seu contexto histórico, social e cultural. O projeto foi além da sala de aula, envolvendo alunos, professores e a comunidade escolar. A alteração curricular para inclusão do tema no programa regular mostrou necessidade de planejamento. ________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT

The present study is a result of research on indigenous art, specifically the graphics of Karajás, aiming to present a reflection on the inclusion of indians content in the school curriculum in the regular school system. It is intending to contextualize the diversity characteristic of the Brazilian people. This art education project developed with the final grades of elementary school, in partnership with teachers of other subjects, addressing art and graphic design in its historical, social and cultural context. The project went beyond the classroom, involving students, teachers and the school community. The curriculum change to include the topic in the regular program showed the need for planning.
