| Resumo: | O presente trabalho busca entender através de uma reflexão teórica a questão dos originais e substitutos nos museus de ciências, a partir da análise das reflexões do ICOFOM Study Series 8 e 9. Assim, discute os objetos e acervos nos museus em geral, seu processo de musealização e a questão da substituição dos objetos originais. Caracteriza os acervos e objetos presentes nos museus de ciências. Analisa as reflexões sobre originais e substitutos presentes na ICOFOM Study Series, verificando especificamente a relação/aplicação dos conceitos de originais e substitutos, os dilemas, as razões e usos dos substitutos e as tipologias apresentados em relação aos objetos e acervos nos museus de ciências. A partir dessas reflexões, foi possível compreender que os objetos e acervos nos museus de ciências possuem características específicas em relação a outras tipologias museais, no que se refere questão dos objetos originais e substitutos; as razões da presença/utilização substitutos nos museus de ciências podem ser justificadas pela função educativa desses museus, sendo que a questão de originalidade dependente do referencial, e assim, em contextos diferentes, um mesmo objeto pode ser entendido como original ou substituto. ______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT
The following work seeks to understand, through a theoretical pondering, the matter of originals and substitutes in science museums, from the reflection of analysis of ICOFOM Study Series 8 and 9. This way, it discusses the items and collections in museums in general, its process of musealization and the matter of substitution of original items. It characterizes the collections and items in exhibition at science museums. It analyses the reflections about originals and substitutes in exhibition at the ICOFOM Study Series, verifying specifically the relation/application of the concepts of original and substitute, the dilemmas, the reasons and the uses of substitutes and the typologies presented in relation to the items and collections at science museums. Henceforth, it was possible to comprehend that the items and collections at science museums possess specific characteristics in relation to other museum typologies, in regards to the matter of original items and substitutes, the reason of the presence/use of substitutes in science museums may be justified by the educational function of said museums, being the matter of originality dependent on the referential, and therefore, in different contexts, the same item may be understood as original or substitute. |
