História do movimento feminista em Brasília/DF : memórias de luta – 1980 a 2000

Abstract

A gênese do movimento feminista de Brasília/DF está diretamente conectada ao momento histórico em que está inserida. Pensar o surgimento dos grupos responsáveis pelo fortalecimento das pautas em meio a redemocratização e todo o movimento social que fervilhava nas décadas de 1970, 1980 e 1990 é necessário para compreender os caminhos que foram seguidos e que nos trouxeram até aqui. Há de se considerar ainda todo o percurso feito pelo feminismo em âmbito nacional, que vai fundamentar as bases deste movimento no pós-ditadura. Recuperar essa memória através da consulta de acervos e, principalmente, de entrevistas de mulheres que vivenciaram e participaram ativamente da construção do movimento é o ponto de partida para a reconstrução dessa história. Através das falas, apareceram grupos, mulheres e motivações fundamentais para o movimento feministas de Brasília/DF. Através de entrevistas não estruturadas, temos a possibilidade de abarcar diversas nuances da experiência de vida de cada uma dessas mulheres. Três pontos importantes se destacaram – a ramificação do movimento feminista entre militância política e crítica cultural, o silenciamento das mulheres e suas demandas dentro do movimento social mais amplo e na história e, por fim, o pano de fundo desse feminismo, a violência contra as mulheres. Pontuar esses três itens que nos saltam aos olhos nos leva a voltar a atenção para o debate teórico dentro do movimento, observando as motivações internas, como esse movimento se dividiu e subdividiu a partir dos objetivos de luta e de mudança social encabeçados por essas feministas. __________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT

The genesis of the feminist movement in Brasília/DF (Brazil) is directly linked with the historical moment in which it is inserted. The need to think about the rising of the groups responsible for the strengthening of agendas in the midst of a redemocratization and the whole social movement that was boiling in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s is necessary to comprehend the paths that had been taken and that brought us here. The entire route taken by feminism nationwide must also be considered to substantiate the foundations of this movement in the post-dictatorship. To recover that memory through the consultation of archives and especially of interviews of women who experienced and actively participated in the building of the movement is the starting point for the reconstruction of this story. Through speeches, groups appeared along with women and fundamental motivations for the feminist movement in Brasília/DF. Through unstructured interviews, we are able to embrace various shades of the life experience of each of these women. Three key points stood out – the ramification of the feminist movement into political activism and cultural criticism; the silencing of women and their demands within the broader social movement and history; and finally, the background of this feminism, the violence against women. Punctuating these three items that are eye popping brings our attention to the theoretical debate within the movement, observing the internal motivations, how this movement was divided and subdivided based on the goals of struggle and social changing led by these feminists.
