Mal-estar moderno ao pós-moderno : reflexos sob a histeria

Abstract

Este trabalho refere-se a uma pesquisa de revisão bibliográfica a respeito da histeria e do caráter de máscara do desejo que seu sintoma toma, desde Freud e retomado nestes termos por Lacan, mais especificamente sob as novas configurações sintomáticas que esta tem tomado na atualidade, levando em consideração as transformações ocorridas na sociedade desde o século passado e que modificaram o mal-estar da modernidade em comparação com o pós-moderno. Sendo o lugar social da mulher diverso daquele da época de Freud, e a falta como algo apartado do discurso sociocultural atual, levando os sujeitos ao imperativo do gozo e a uma cultura do narcisismo, que os torna sempre inadequados a moral vigente, discutimos sobre a toxicomania, anorexia, depressão e síndrome do pânico em suas relações com a histeria contemporânea, considerando os efeitos deste contexto social atual como produtores destes novos tipos de máscaras para a histérica. ___________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT

The present paper refers to a research literature review about the hysteria and the character of the mask of desire that its symptom takes from, since Freud and resumed in these terms by Lacan, more specifically under the new symptomatic settings that hysteria has taken today, regarding the changes occurring in society over the past century that changed, therefore, the malaise of modernity comparing into the postmodern. Being the place of women in society different from the one in Freud’s period of time, and the absence considered as something separated from the current sociocultural discourse, leading the subjects to the imperative of enjoyment and a culture of narcissism, we have discussed drug addiction, anorexia, depression and panic disorder in their relations with contemporary hysteria, considering the effects of this social context as current producers of these new types of masks of the hysterical subject.
