Feminismo : contexto social e político do Marrocos no século XX

Abstract

Este trabalho trata da inserção do feminismo no Marrocos a partir do final do século XX. Inicialmente, é apresentada uma contextualização histórica do surgimento do feminismo, em seguida a construção muçulmana de dois grandes paradigmas na mesma linha feminina, a saber, o feminismo secular e o feminismo islâmico. Apresenta-se a relação entre o Islã e as mulheres, bem como a posição das mulheres no Marrocos para, finalmente, se fazer uma análise da inserção do feminismo nesse país. A hipótese de que o feminismo islâmico teria se sobressaído em relação ao secular não é verificada, na medida em que ambos assumem contribuições diferentes na conjuntura emancipacionista marroquina. _________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT

This paper deals with the insertion of the feminism in Morocco from the late twentieth century. Initially, it presents a historical background of the appearance of the feminism; after that, it identifies two great paradigms, the secular feminism and the Islamic feminism. The paper also presents the relation between Islam and the women, as well as the position of women in Morocco to finally make an analysis of the insertion of the feminism in this country. The hypothesis that the Islamic feminism has stood out in relation to the secular feminism was not verified because both assume different but relevant contributions in the emancipation of the Moroccan social and political situation.
