| Abstract: | The aim of the study was to investigate the static stability of postural stability in individuals with chronic nonspecific low back pain (DLCNE). It is a crosssectional study with a sample composed of 31 participants with DLCNE, evaluated through a balance platform (BBS) with bipodal support in two conditions, with open eyes and with closed eyes. It was observed an increase of all indexes provided by the BBS when the condition went from open eyes to closed eyes, highlighting as greater value the overall stability index (OSI), which ranged from 0.68 to 1.27. The study concludes that there is a considerable increase of static postural oscillation in people with DLCNE with deprivation of the visual system and that this increase can be justified by the deterioration of the proprioceptive system. |
