| Resumo: | Esta pesquisa trata da leitura impressa e digital entre os estudantes da Universidade de Brasília. O referencial teórico abordou temas como o livro digital, o livro impresso e leitura no ensino superior. O trabalho teve como objetivo principal analisar o interesse da leitura impressa e digital entre os estudantes da Universidade de Brasília e também tem o intuito de compreender e analisar a utilização dos livros impressos e digitais entre os estudantes nos dias de hoje. Os objetivos específicos são basicamente: identificar o perfil dos estudantes; identificar o uso dos livros impressos e digitais; identificar os obstáculos para a leitura do material digital e descrever os motivos que influenciam a redução da leitura impressa ou da digital. A metodologia da pesquisa tem caráter quantitativo, por ser mais objetivo e de baixo custo e a coleta dos dados foi realizada mediante questionários aplicados com estudantes de diversos cursos da Universidade de Brasília no ano de 2016, o universo da pesquisa foi composto por 75 estudantes. Os resultados da pesquisa mostraram que os estudantes lêem mais em suporte impresso e que cada leitor prefere um suporte ou o outro, analisando benefícios ou males que cada um pode causar, e consequentemente ao que mais se adequa à sua preferência de leitura. |
| Abstract: | This research deals with printed and digital reading among the students of the University of Brasilia. The theoretical framework addressed topics such as the digital book, printed book and reading in higher education. The main objective of this work was to analyze the interest of the printed and digital reading among students of the University of Brasilia and also aims to understand and analyze the use of print and digital books among students today. The specific objectives are basically: to identify the profile of the students; identify the use of printed and digital books; identify obstacles to the reading of digital material and describe the reasons that influence the reduction of printed or digital reading. The methodology of the research has a quantitative character, being more objective and low cost and the data collection was done through questionnaires applied with students of several courses of the University of Brasília in the year 2016, the universe of the research was composed of 75 students. The research results showed that students read more in print and that each reader prefers one or the other, analyzing the benefits or ills that each can cause, and consequently the one that best suits their reading preference. |
