| dc.description.abstract | Esta monografia tem como objetivo estudar e investigar a partir de fontes primárias e secundárias como se deu a relação entre o futebol e um dos regimes ditatoriais mais violentos e sangrentos da América Latina, isto é, a ditadura militar argentina dos anos de 1976 a 19S3. No ano de 1978 o país sediou a Copa do Mundo de Futebol, assim, este trabalho busca compreender a dimensão histórica deste evento no contexto social e político do país. abordando e questionando certos acontecimentos históricos que permeiam a mente dos historiadores e dos aficionados por futebol, por exemplo: como foi a repercussão do Mundial de 78 no exterior e para os argentinos, quando tantos casos de perseguição, tortura e assassinatos ocorriam no pais? Como era a relação entre Jorge Rafael Videla e o presidente da FIFA? Como o futebol foi visualizado pela Junta Militar? Como este evento está inserido na memória coletiva do povo argentino? | en |

| dc.description.abstract1 | This monograph aims to study and investigate, from primary and secondary sources, how was the relationship between soccer and one of the most violent and bloodiest dictatorships in Latin America, in other words, the Argentine Military Dictatorship that took place in the years of 1976 to 1983. In 1978. the country has hosted the FIFA World Cup. Thus, this work seeks to understand the historical dimension of this event in the social and political context of the country, analysing and asking about certain historical events that permeate the minds of historians and soccer’s passionates. for example: what was the impact of 78' World Cup to foreigners and to the Argentineans, while so many cases of persecution, torture and murders were happening in the country? How was the relationship between Jorge Rafael Videla and FIFA President? How the Military Junta viewed the soccer? How this event is embedded in the collective memory of the Argentine people? | - |
