| Resumo: | Este trabalho tem como objetivo traçar uma correspondência entre a participação em protestos e a participação política. Para o estudo, as Jornadas de Junho serviram como referência de tempo e espaço. Para entender a importância da participação política online para a participação em protestos e manifestações, e vice-versa, foi preciso, primeiramente, identificar a relação entre internet e política no mundo em que vivemos, em segundo lugar, traçar uma explanação sobre os “novos movimentos sociais em rede” e, por fim, fazer uma reflexão sobre a participação política online e a importância do ativismo online. A análise se baseou nos dados de um websurvey para coletar as opiniões dos indivíduos. O questionário aplicado teve como objetivo identificar o perfil dos respondentes, identificar sua participação política no período anterior às manifestações, identificar sua participação política no período posterior às manifestações e identificar sua opinião quando aos meios de participação política online, principalmente através das redes sociais virtuais. Um dos principais achados é de que não podemos traçar uma linha contínua entre a participação política online e participação em protestos, uma vez que foi identificado que aqueles que, em maioria, participaram das manifestações de Junho e apresentaram maior participação depois, são os mesmos que participavam de manifestações e protestos antes das Jornadas de Junho – mesmo que a maioria dos respondentes da pesquisa tenha afirmado que passou a participar mais da vida política do país. A pesquisa também mostrou a fraca participação dos respondentes em movimentos organizados, independente do período em questão. Dessa forma, é preciso trazer ao debate as novas formas de participação política online como meio para suprir a falta de representatividade que pode existir para a maioria da população. _________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT
This paper aims to draw a correspondence between participation in protests and political participation. For the study, the June Protests were a reference in time and space. To understand the importance of online political participation for participation in protests and demonstrations, and vice versa, it was necessary to first identify the relationship between Internet and politics in the world we live in. Secondly, to draw an explanation of the "new social movements in network "and, finally, to reflect on political participation and the importance of online activism. The analysis was based on data from a websurveya to collect the opinions of individuals. The questionnaire aimed to identify the profile of the respondents to identify their political participation in the period prior to the protests, identify their political participation in the period after the protests and identify your opinion about what the online political participation means, mainly through virtual social networks. One of the main findings is that we can’t draw a continuous line between the online political participation and participation in protests since it was identified that those who, in the majority, took part in June protests and had higher participation then, are the same that participated in demonstrations and protests before the June protests - even that most of survey respondents had asserted that started participate more of the country political life. The survey also showed low participation of respondents in organized movements, regardless of the period in question. Thus, it is necessary to bring the debate new forms of online political participation as a means to address the lack of representativeness that may exist for the majority of the population. |
